Wedding Poem Sample

Based on The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere:

To The Groom and Bride We All Revere:
Listen my friends and you shall hear
 Of the wedding of Ash and Rina dear;
  On the fourth of July, in zero four
   Everyone heretofore
    Will remember this day and year.

Middle of poem:
One says "can't" (Amer.), one says "can't" (Brit.)
 One says "aunt" (Amer.), one says "aunt" (Brit.)
  But it matters not to these two doves
   Who speak a language known as "love."
